May flowers and showers

We finally got some rain today instead of snow! This winter/early spring has been record-breaking for cold, and I'm so glad it's over. This is also our first spring in 4 years--it's always green and flowery and summery in the UAE--so it's been fun to see things come back to life here after a long winter.

While in the UAE, K read The Secret Garden, and ever since she's been wanting her own "bit of earth" to grow flowers in. She's loving it here. All these beautiful bulbs were here for us when we moved in, but we'll be planting some seeds of our own later this month.

Hi,
The flowers are beautiful! I am glad spring is finally coming to Rexburg.
Tell K that The Secret Garden is one of my favorite books.
Love,
